Kiel Majewski
Kiel Majewski is a memory worker and community practitioner. In his career, he has directed a Holocaust museum and a philanthropic foundation; curated exhibits; led study tours of genocide memorials in North America, Europe, and Africa; facilitated conversations with survivors and upstanders; and mentored youth peace-building advocates.
Kiel is the founder of Timberwolf Advisors and a consultant on a number of collective memory and human rights projects. He writes and speaks regularly on topics such as the Holocaust, Rwanda, polarization and radicalization, documenting the past, fostering dialogue, and civic engagement.
Kiel was inspired to start Timberwolf after doing genealogical research and retracing his grandfather’s path through Europe during World War II. Combining scholarly aptitude with the sensibilities of common folk, you can find him on social media engaging in dialogue about the meaning and relevance of the past to today’s hot-button issues.
With two decades of experience in the nonprofit world, Kiel is well-versed in startup and scaling tactics for organizations. You can try him at anything, but he specializes in conceptual design, persuasive writing, fundraising, network and relationship development, project management, and making sense of complex things.

Timberwolf Network
For larger projects, we connect with memory workers and technical consultants across fields to get the job done. We can form a custom tactical unit to manage projects from conceptualization to implementation.
Just who are these tacticians?
They can be professionals with a side hustle, academics with an ethos, people in between jobs or phases of life. It could even be you.
